Our suggestion of a 5-days itinerary from Paris to the Southwest.
Day 1 : Journey from Paris to Loire Valley
- Rent a car and drive to the Loire Valley (approximately 2-hour drive from Paris).
- Visit the Château de Chambord, one of the most iconic châteaux in the Loire Valley.
- Check into Les Sources de Cheverny, located between Châteaux de Chambord and Chenonceau.
- Unwind at the Spa by Caudalie with a signature ritual.
- Enjoy a gourmet dinner at Le Favori, the Michelin-starred restaurant on-property by Chef Frederic Calmels.
Day 2 : Châteaux & Wine
- Explore the Château de Chenonceau, known as the “Ladies’s Château”.
- Discover the region through many cycle routes and circuits and bike along the Loire river.
- Enjoy a private wine tasting at a nearby vineyard, sampling exquisite Loire Valley wines.
- Return to the hotel for another delightful dinner at the restaurant L’Auberge.
Day 3 : Journey to Bordeaux
- Check-out from Les Sources de Cheverny and drive to Bordeaux, enjoying scenic views of the French countryside (approximately 4-hour drive).
- Check into Les Sources de Caudalie, nestled among Château Smith Haut Lafitte’s vineyards.

- Enjoy a guided tour of the winery of Château Smith Haut Lafitte, followed by a wine tasting session.
- Discover the cuisine of Chef Nicolas Masse through a gastronomic experience at La Grand'Vigne.
Day 5 : Saint-Emilion’s charming medieval village
- Check-out from Les Sources de Caudalie and take a day trip to Saint-Emilion, a charming medieval village internationally renowned for its wine.
- Visit local wineries for tastings and learn about the region's winemaking traditions.
- Drive to Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport or Bordeaux Saint Jean Train station or extend your stay with us !
If you have a longer trip, extend the journey to the Atlantic Ocean, the Arcachon Bay, Biarritz and the quaint Basque country.
